Molly Lithgo is a full time studio potter who has lived and worked in Greensboro, NC for more than fifty years. She is represented by numerous galleries throughout North Carolina. Her work has been featured at the North Carolina Pottery Center, Baltimore Clayworks, UNC-Chapel Hill, UNC-Greensboro, Wake Forest University, Davidson Community College, and more. In 1997, she established Earthworks Pottery. Her work can be found in private collections nationally, as well as Japan, Russia, Spain, and Greece.

Molly has more than fifteen years’ experience as an instructor, lecturer, juror, curator, and demonstrator, including courses taught for John C. Campbell Folk School, Randolph Community College, Rockingham Community College, Forsyth Technical Community College, and the Forsyth and Guilford County School systems. She is an experienced public speaker and presents regularly to students of all abilities in North Carolina and beyond.molly-home

Molly earned her BFA in Drawing & Painting from Atlanta College of Art and completed her MFA in Drawing & Painting at UNC-Greensboro. Her work has been selected twice for publication in Lark Books, and she has placed or received honorable mention in 10 craft shows.
